Mr. Saburo ICHIYOSHI, who has been a member of the Saga Balloon Festa Organizing Committee and as a competition officer in the event, was announced as the "2026 HALL of FAME INDUCTEE" by FAI Balloon Commisiton.

Congratulations to SABU-san, Mr. Saburo Ichiyoshi, on his "induction into the CIA Hall of Fame".
Subu-san is loved by all baroonists, not only a pioneer of hot air balloons in Japan but also an evangelist, and still a leader of us.
Subu-san proposed the international competition in Saga very first, and then we were able to hold it through his overseas connections. In addition, thanks to his efforts we could hold world championships three times in Saga.
As one of Saga citizens, I would like to congratulate and appreciate Sabu-san for making such a wonderful and proud event. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Subs-san, who love sake and have a warm heart, I hope you will always be healthy from now on, and keep going to all competitions in Japan and enjoy local sake there.
And I sincerely hope that you will play an active role while paying full attention to your health.
