2012 Saga International Balloon Fiesta

SIBFO, Saga International Balloon Fiesta Organization, is in charge of the Saga International Balloon Fiesta events. It is run mainly by volunteers. We think of hot-air ballooning as a sport and aim to promote and practice it as much as we can.
Saga Hot Air Balloon Operation Committee is another organization composed of several local governments, business enterprises and various organizations. They are in charge of preparing the launch site and the surrounding area, and sponsor the events to be held at the launch site. They also aim to promote tourism in Saga through the Saga International Balloon Fiesta. At the same time they believe it to be a good opportunity for volunteer activities and international among the citizens. We thank them for their supporting the Saga International Balloon Fiesta.
We believe we can improve the Saga International Balloon Fiesta by working with these organizations. We would like everyone to know the pleasure of ballooning, so we run many interesting programs like the “Heartful Day” for the disabled and the Kids Day” for children, in co-operation with the above related organizaitions.
